At All Saints Academy we strongly believe that all children have the right to an excellent education underpinned by outstanding quality teaching with high expectations. On that basis we are determined to ensure that our children are given every chance to realise their full potential. The Pupil Premium Grant is additional funding provided by the Department for Education to enhance the education of social-economically disadvantaged pupils (namely those pupils entitled, or previously entitled, to free school meals (FSM), Looked After Children (LAC) or adopted from care).
Schools are free to decide on how best to allocate the funds for programmes to support its disadvantaged pupils.
In 2021/22, the percentage of pupils eligible for the Pupil Premium is 28% currently (29 eligible pupils).
The amount of Pupil Premium funds allocated to All Saints Academy for 2020-2021 was £35,400.
The amount allocated for the 2021-2022 academic year is £30,925.
The Pupil Premium provision is planned in an integrated and targeted manner for this academic year to ensure that those pupils entitled to the Pupil Premium receive additional support to address the identified barriers.
The next review date for the strategy will be: 19th October 2022
"Leaders use additional funding well for disadvantaged pupils. Leaders carefully and considerately identify the barriers for learning that these pupils face. Often the progress that disadvantaged pupils make is equal to and, at times, better than that of other pupils".
Ofsted October 2017
"Disadvantaged pupils make at least the same progress as their peers at this inclusive school".
